Why did you choose the Romexis Image Cloud service?
The cloud service is an easy and secure way to store images, and there is no need to maintain separate backups.
What challenges did you face before switching to Romexis Image Cloud?
Backups had to be saved on separate disks, and when they ran out of space or didn’t work properly, it was sometimes quite challenging.
How did the implementation of the service go?
With guidance from the Planmeca Romexis team, the implementation went smoothly. Transferring images from the old system initially caused them to be categorized as “photographs” and incorrectly labeled in the software, but these can easily be corrected later in the patient record if desired.
How has the service worked since implementation?
Romexis works well, the images are easy to find, and although there have occasionally been bugs, they were resolved fairly quickly.
How would you evaluate the reliability of the Romexis Image Cloud service?
Very reliable.
Have you noticed cost savings or other benefits from using the solution?
The biggest benefit is ease of use - you don’t have to worry about whether the images will be preserved or where they are stored.
