Why did you choose Romexis Image Cloud?
We chose Romexis Image Cloud because the service itself fits our needs very well, and it's provided by a company that has a proven track record in secure cloud hosting and largescale Romexis deployments. We also liked the future development potential of the service.
What challenges were you facing before switching to Romexis Image Cloud?
Previously, we hosted Romexis internally, but it presented a few challenges. We encountered some technical difficulties, particularly with slower transfer speeds, which impacted our efficiency. Managing the system in-house also required significant internal resources, diverting our IT team from other strategic priorities. Additionally, the costs associated with maintaining the infrastructure gradually increased, making it a less cost-effective solution over time.
How did the deployment project go?

We reviewed and refined this plan together to ensure it met our specific needs. One of the key advantages was the flexibility Entteri offered — each clinic was able to transition to the cloud on a timeline that suited them. Communication throughout the project was seamless, with weekly meetings and instant communication channels keeping everyone aligned. Additionally, when upgrading from Romexis 5 to Romexis 6, Planmeca provided training webinars and videos to familiarize our teams with the new system, ensuring a smooth and well-prepared transition.
How has the service worked since deployment?
Since deploying Romexis Image Cloud, the service has performed flawlessly. All of the performance issues we encountered with our previous system, particularly around transfer speeds and system reliability, have been resolved. The cloud environment has proven to be stable and efficient, allowing us to operate without disruptions.
How would you rate the security and reliability of our service?
In terms of reliability, the service has been excellent. We’ve had no complaints from our users, and the system has been running smoothly without any issues. As for security, it meets all our expectations, providing the level of protection and data safety we need.
Have you seen any cost savings or other benefits from using our solution?
Yes, moving to Romexis Image Cloud has led to significant operational benefits. One of the major advantages has been the ability to free up our internal IT resources. Instead of dedicating time and effort to managing our Romexis hosting, our IT team can now focus on higher-value tasks that contribute more directly to our business goals. This shift has not only improved our efficiency but has also been more cost-effective.
