This all started with a question.

Helvi started as an idea to make our manual easier to use. We built a chatbot, gave it access to our documentation, and let it loose. In the early days, it made things up, confidently gave wrong answers, and once even recommended a car mechanic in Hanko. Classic GenAI behavior.



But we kept going. The models improved, we learned quickly, and with feedback from our support team (plus a lot of testing), Helvi became something genuinely useful.

Today, Helvi is live for all AssisDent users. It answers questions, skips the manual-hunting, and helps people get to the right info faster. Support is smoother now, and this is just the beginning.

Building Helvi also gave us a way to explore AI in a practical, safe way and laid the groundwork for future tools across the product.

Not bad for something that started as a “what if.”
