It started as a simple idea: what if finding answers in our user manual didn’t feel like digging through a filing cabinet? So we built a chatbot to help. In the early days, it gave some… creative answers (like offering a premium version of AssisDent we’ve never made, or sending people to a car mechanic in Hanko for support). Oops!
Luckily, the technology improved quickly. After lots of fine-tuning and a few moments where updates made it stop working, it’s now ready for everyone.
Right now, Helvi helps users find the right information, faster. But we’re already thinking about what else it could do: open the right windows in the software, give treatment summaries, or adjust advice depending on the patient’s age. Lots of interesting possibilities ahead!
Most importantly, building Helvi gave us the chance to test AI in a safe, useful way. It’s not our main product, but it’s helping us figure out how to build smarter tools in the future.
